WETT Inspection
A Wood Energy Technology Transfer (WETT) inspection is a specialized assessment of wood-burning systems, including stoves, fireplaces, and chimneys, conducted by certified professionals. These professionals fall into categories like SITE® Basic Inspector, Technician, Chimney Sweep, or SITE® Comprehensive Inspector.
WETT inspections serve various purposes, such as insurance compliance, real estate transactions, and addressing system functionality concerns. It's important to note that WETT certifies individuals, not companies. Appliances or installations cannot be WETT certified. Instead, an inspection report is issued by a WETT-certified professional, specifying compliance with manufacturer's instructions and relevant codes.

There are three levels of inspection:
Level 1: Visual Inspection (Readily Accessible)
Level 2: Technical Inspection (Accessible)
Level 3: Invasive Inspection (Concealed Accessibility)
The inspector will help determine the level based on your specific needs. For most insurance and real estate inspections, a Visual inspection may suffice.
However, if concerns arise, a higher level may be recommended.
You will receive a written report detailing compliance with manufacturer’s installation instructions and relevant codes. The installation is either in compliance or not.
An inspection report is valid for four years from inspection.

Level 3: Invasive Inspection (Concealed Accessibility)
This is the most comprehensive level, requiring invasive methods for access. It may involve opening walls or ceilings and potentially compromising structural elements. Specialized tools like video scanning equipment may be used. A written agreement from the client and possibly a permit from the Authority Having Jurisdiction is required for this level.

We will not handle plumbing lines or gas lines. It is the responsibility of the customer to engage a plumber for these activities for disconnect or install.
We will aim to deliver the unit to its final location, or inside location of your choice.
If we do not have safe clearance, we will deliver the appliance to your garage or
front door and refund the portions accordingly.
The unit will stay packaged until it is in its final location. If we cannot fit the unit
through doors/stairs in its packaging, we will deliver it to your front door or garage.

If requested, we will remove the packaging once it is in its final place. Our intent is
to ensure that the appliance is delivered safely, and all measures to avoid any
